About Injectable Aesthetics Academy

Who are we?

Injectable Aesthetics Academy delivers fully accredited injectable courses in Dermal Fillers, Anti-Wrinkle and Fat-dissolving. We are a perfect marriage between highly experienced, medically trained aesthetics practitioners and vastly experienced training providers. Our board of directors have over 12 years’ experience in medicine, science and aesthetics between them and over 15 years’ experience in delivering first-class training.

Our directors have managed hugely successful training businesses delivering professional programmes and back-to-work programmes for the Department of Work and Pensions, National Rail and have been delivery partners with large colleges and universities. They were also approved providers for the Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund, managing millions of pounds worth of funding in delivering approved Ofqual registered NVQs and basic skills training. We also have medically qualified directors and tutors that have years of experience in administering and delivering approved courses in aesthetics and beauty. All our tutors are medics with a wealth of experience in aesthetics and are also qualified adult skills teachers.

Using our combined experience in the fields of injectable aesthetics and training we formed Injectable Aesthetics Academy. When we came to research the aesthetics training market; using our vast experience in delivering OFQUAL registered training, we quickly came to realise that the courses which were been delivered were structured poorly and there was an overall lack of substance and quality in the training delivered. Using our combined experience we devised clinical training programmes that offer a well-balanced mix of interactive, participatory, hands-on experience with extensive, well-structured theory work and diligent, attentive assessment.

Aesthetics courses provider in UK. Injectable Aesthetics Academy graduates.

Injectable Aesthetics Academy trains future aesthetics practitioners how to apply.

Our courses have both theory and practical aspects that have been carefully devised by medics with vast experience in both anatomy and aesthetics, the structures of which have been carefully designed by years of experience in delivering OFQUAL registered courses, the result of which is injectable aesthetics programmes that are as extensive, meticulous and informed as a college or university programme.

Our approach to delivering injectable aesthetics guarantees that all our delegates are well prepared to deliver excellent injectable and non-surgical treatments to their clients in the field of dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle and fat-dissolving treatments. Lastly, once you have completed your course with us we give you everything you need to start your practice the moment you step out of our doors, including insurance, legality documents, pharmacies and prescribers for the anti-wrinkle substance. Please see our courses tab for our course structures, learning outcomes and further information.

We believe in 'Teaching Excellence through Safety'

At Injectable Aesthetics Academy we sincerely and fully abide by our motto 'Teaching Excellence through Safety'. We appreciate that there will naturally be a void in the knowledge of the human anatomy and physiology between medics and non-medics, we also understand that injectable aesthetics are not generally medical procedures, but more in the field of aesthetics and beauty, so excluding non-medics such as beauticians is not viable. Particularly since Health Education England guidelines allows certain non-medics to become practitioners.

Due to this, we at Injectable Aesthetics Academy offer additional courses and support to our non-medic learners to bridge the gap between medics and non-medics, so our non-medic learners can be more informed, confident and, most of all, safer.

Our pre-course theory work booklets are more involved and extensive for non-medics in comparison to the booklets aimed at medics. For non-medics, we have extended learning material, particularly in the modules that cover safety, anatomy, injection techniques, and contra-indications etc.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is there parking available?

There are many car parks in the local area that charge to park, there is also on-street parking but there is also a charge for this. Due to our centralised and well-connected location, we would advise our clients to use public transport such as the tube. We are served by three different tube lines.

2. Can non-medics do your courses?

The short answer to this is yes. HEE guidelines allow non-medics to practice as aesthetics practitioners in the field of injectables. Please see the latest guidelines here (https://www.hee.nhs.uk/our-work/non-surgical-cosmetic-procedures). The general rule is that non-medics must be qualified up to a Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent to partake in injectable aesthetics. Please send us a message on our contact us page if you are unsure whether you qualify or if you work with needles in your work.

Firstly, our pre-course theory work booklets are more involved and extensive for non-medics in comparison to the booklets aimed at medics. For non-medics, we have extended learning material, particularly in the modules that cover safety, anatomy, injection techniques, and contra-indications etc.

Secondly, we offer a fully Ofqual-registered ‘NVQ Level 3 in Anatomy and Physiology in complementary therapies’ to our non-medic learners at no extra cost. The course is made up of one core mandatory unit which focuses on the anatomy of the body, focusing on the face, including chemical organisation, cell structure, tissue types, body systems and their pathologies. This will give our non-medic learners a deeper understanding of the anatomy of the body and face.
