Lips Masterclass Course (Including Russian Lips)
Lips fillers are considered an art form, underpinned by science, the Lips Masterclass course is specially designed to gain a deeper understanding in the art of lip fillers. We will also teach our learners the difference between fillers to gain a desired result, the different equipment needed and, most importantly, the different injection techniques. Lip fillers are the most popular dermal fillers treatment and the demand for lip fillers is ever growing, due to this a range of techniques are used to give the clients a more specialised look.
This course has been specially constructed to help our clients to fully comprehend the art of administering lip filler to achieve a desired outcome tailored to the desire of your clients. We delve into the anatomy of the lips and how to assess and consult the client correctly.
- Fully CPD accredited
As this is an add-on advanced course. Clients wishing to enrol onto this course must have previously completed our Combined Basic and Advanced Dermal Fillers course, or an approved CPD equivalent from one of our peers.
We offer a Lips Masterclass that includes the popular Russian Lips procedure, which will train our clients in all the advanced lips augmentation techniques, we believe by offering a combined course this will save our clients time and money, we also train in both the cannula and needle methods.
The Lips Masterclass course will assist students in gaining a much deeper informative insight into the field of specialised dermal fillers injectable techniques and skills in the lips and will provide those with the practical skills needed to either start their own clinic or add a lucrative extra stream of income to an existing beauty salon, spa, or aesthetics clinic. Some clients have also worked locum in busy aesthetics or beauty salons in their local areas. The course will also add to the continual professional development of the practioner.
The course will not only address the injecting aspects of the lips but will also teach students how to inject safely in this specialised and delicate area, as well as working with clients to achieve the most desirable yet practical outcome. Both needle and cannula methods will be taught.
The following techniques will be taught –
· Lips (HD Lips, Doll Lips, Russian Pout/Lips, Upturned Smile, Luscious Lips, Cupids Bow, Nano Drops, Tenting and many more)
How the course is delivered
The course is delivered in two sections; there is prior reading and a practical aspect.
The Theory Work
Upon enrolment onto our Lips Masterclass course, we will send you out a fully CPD approved booklet for our clients to read through. The booklet will give our clients the basic understanding of Lips Masterclass including the different injections techniques, consultation and assessment, safety, and realistic outcomes.
The theory booklet covers the following modules:
- Treatment information
- Medical questionnaire
- Before and afters
- Injection techniques
- Safety and hygiene
- Risks, side effects, complications
- Realistic expectations
- Topical anaesthetic
At the end of each module you will need to answer two to four questions on the subject matter. It will take about 9 hours of guided learning on this section for medics and 12-13 guided learning hours for non-medics. The workbook answer sheet will be required to be emailed back to us for marking before the practical days.
As was mentioned previously we strongly abide by our motto ‘Teaching Excellence through Safety’ (Please see our About Us page). Our pre-course theory work booklets are more involved and extensive for non-medics in comparison to the booklets aimed at medics. For non-medics we have extended learning material, particularly in the modules that cover safety, anatomy, injection techniques, and contra-indications etc. By offering this additional support we believe that our non-medic learners can offer quality aesthetics procedures whilst having a better understanding of the anatomy and physiology, thus ‘Teaching Excellence through Safety’
The Practical Days
The second section of our course is the one-day practical day.
The day will start with a 60-minute power point presentation reviewing the theory work and allowing time for any questions and queries regarding the theory aspect of the course and lips in general. There will also be an introduction and overview of our facilities and training centre.
The remaining time will be spent doing practical work on our models under the direction of our fully trained aesthetics experts. We never ask our trainees to supply their own models, we provide all the models.
